From Online Insults to Real-Life Rage
According to police reports, Kang's response to the online feud was frighteningly extreme. He booked a flight from Newark, New Jersey, to Jacksonville, Florida - a trip of approximately 1,400 kilometers that took about four hours. After arriving at his destination, Kang checked into a hotel and went to a local hardware store, where he purchased a hammer and a flashlight. These purchases were later confirmed by receipts found in his hotel room.
Kang made his way to Fernandina Beach, where his rival lived, and attempted to carry out a violent attack. According to reports, Kang was dressed all in black and wearing a mask when he entered his rival's home through an unlocked door. The confrontation occurred as the victim was on his way to the bathroom.
