A data miner has found some interesting files in Tekken 8 which could hint at a major DLC in the game's future.
Tekken 8 also included a story mode, where players get to catch a glimpse of the fighter's personalities and motivations, just like previous Tekken games. The story of the eighth installment was well received, but players felt like there was something missing by the end of it.
One data miner might have found the information as to why players were left on the edge with cliffhangers, and that could all be explained by future DLC's.
Tekken 8 Deleted Files Found By Data Miners
Data miner "VolSkimmer" has shared some scenes on Twitter/X which are part of the game files for Tekken 8, but were never shown during the game. This cut content is suspected to be added into a possible DLC for Tekken 8 in the future.
The following sections discuss major events in the story of Tekken 8
The clips shared by VolSkimmer have since been taken down, but when they were still available on Twitter/X, some of the plot holes of the Tekken 8 story were explained, especially surrounding Jun Kazama. Players who played through the Tekken 8 story wondered whether she was a spirit or actually alive. Well, one of the cut scenes showed her getting revived, which would mean that she is going to stick around in the future.

There were also images of Devil Reina which have since been removed from the platform, which never saw the light of day in the released version of Tekken 8.
There is quite a bit of content that seems to have been added to the game but then removed before the release. Therefore, to flesh out the story further and to tie up some loose ends, players are suspecting that there is going to be a DLC in the game's future.
Of course, not every mystery of the Tekken 8 story will be explained in the potential DLC, with content still being left for Tekken 9. Hopefully we also get some more DLC content in the future... Tifa from Final Fantasy as well, maybe?
