Pokémon Presents: What To Expect

In the announcement tweet, the Pokémon Company wrote that there will be some upcoming exciting news in celebration of Pokémon Day, but what could this information be?

Well, a lot of players have speculated that Pokémon Black and White will be getting a Nintendo Switch remake. The games were released in 2010 for the Nintendo DS, so it wouldn't come as a surprise if they were to finally receive remakes.

Another rumor suggests that we'll get remakes for Pokémon Gold and Silver. Pokémon Gold has been tagged as a game under the YouTube Short that announces the Pokémon Presents event, according to a Spanish report – but it seems like Nintendo has removed the tag already.

However, Pokémon Gold and Silver are going to celebrate their 25th anniversary soon, so a remake or the possibility to play them via Nintendo Switch Online would very well fit.

There could also be news for the anime which is still running even with Ash retiring and new protagonists taking his place. It has also recently been revealed that the Netflix Pokémon Concierge show would be getting more episodes, which could be teased during the live stream.
