Wuthering Waves is an upcoming open world gacha game. There has been a lot of hype around the game and with the second closed beta kicking off more and more content creators are letting players know their opinion on this upcoming title.

The game is going to be available for mobile and PC (with crossplay available) and should be released sometime in 2024. There are a few glitches the devs will have to fix before full release, but players are hopeful that this game will be able to compete with Genshin Impact.

Wuthering Waves Fixes Key Issue From Genshin Impact

While the game is not even out yet, fans are already hopeful when it comes to Wuthering Waves. Not only is the story interesting, but there are also a lot of interesting characters that players can choose from. This is a gacha game, after all.

So, just like with other gacha games, there are banners to pull characters and weapons from, and this is where Wuthering Waves has a leg up on Genshin Impact. They've fixed the annoying grind for the weapons banner from the get-go. Yep, you read that right.

Any Genshin Impact player will know how cumbersome it is to get the weapons on the specific weapon banners. Well, Wuthering Waves has fixed this issue, by guaranteeing the weapon off the banner at 80-pulls. No 50/50, no two weapons on one banner... just one weapon and a guarantee after a specific amount of pulls. Noice.

Not only that, but players have also revealed that there is a standard weapon banner as well. If you reach the 80 pity on this banner, players will be able to choose the standard 5-star weapon of their choice. This has players pretty excited about the game since it means that even free to play players will be able to receive some good weapons they have their sights set on without having to chance getting the wrong one.

It'll be interesting to see whether the devs make adjustments to these banners before they hit live servers, but for now it's looking pretty good for future Wuthering Waves players.
