Wuthering Waves is a highly anticipated open world gacha game, and the release could be sooner than most had anticipated.
Wuthering Waves is going to be huge. Judging by a lot of positive reviews from content creators and people who got to test out the closed beta, the game has a lot to offer and it's stunning.
A lot of players have been waiting for the release of the game and now, thankfully, the Epic Games Store might have leaked the release date a bit early. It seems you won't have to wait too long to finally play Wuthering Waves.
Wuthering Waves Release Date Could Be Sooner Than Anticipated
The second closed beta for Wuthering Waves just concluded, and players had a lot of positive things to say about the game. But there were still some key issues that Kuro Games have to fix before the official release onto live servers. But, that release could be much sooner than most thought.
The Epic Games Store recently updated the Wuthering Waves page and accidentally put "Initial Release 30/5/2024" onto the page. This would mean that Wuthering Waves is going to release by the end of May, which many feel is way too soon. Most players thought that Kuro Games would wait until the fall to release Wuthering Waves.
Honestly with ZZZ slated to release at some point. Star Rail having its anniversary in the coming weeks. Genshin having its Natlan release in August and onwards. I feel May is really the only time in the year it can release and have its own space to breathe. Especially since it...

Content creator SipSipStefen did have a good point though, stating that HoYoverse's Zenless Zone Zero is going to release this year, Honkai Star Rail will celebrate its 1-year-anniversary in April and the new Genshin Impact region, Natlan, will be added in August 2024.
To give Wuthering Waves some time in the spotlight, a May release makes complete sense, since HoYoverse currently hold the monopoly in the gacha game industry with their popular titles.
Epic Games has already removed the May 30 from the Wuthering Waves page, but there are enough screenshots floating around. So, will we get a new open world game that soon?
