The publisher of hit game Elden Ring is working on a new game and before you stop and think we're talking FromSoftware, then you're gravely mistaken.
Trademarks get filed on the daily, but when it's a big company, it has people interested and curious about what it could mean. So, when Bandai Namco, the publishers of Elden Ring and Tekken recently filed a new trademark in Europe, it had players looking for signs of a new game.
On January 22, 2024 it was found that Bandai Namco has filed for a new trademark. It's also got players guessing what new game this could be for.
"Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree" Trademarked By Bandai Namco
The new trademark is for the name "Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree". There has been no news regarding a new game, but ahead of every big reveal, the company usually trademarks the title of the new games, so something could be in the works.

In September 2023 Bandai Namco revealed trademarks for upcoming games like "Operation Memories" which was then announced to be SPYxANYA: Operation Memories.
For now there is no information on the upcoming game, but maybe it could have something to do with InuYasha, since there is a character by the name Towa Higurashi who plays a key part in the series. But that is just speculation at this point.
But what kind of a game would you expect Bandai Namco to be working on right now?
