Palworld's Truman Show glitch causes players to turn bugs into funny and disturbing fan lore.
Palworld, the recently launched game on Steam, has gained immense popularity, setting records for player engagement during its open beta. Naturally, while being in this very early stage, the game experiences regular bugs, leading to various fan made theories about the game lore.
Palworld Sky Glitch Causes New Fan Theory
Anyone else find the line where the sky is stitched together? by u/SlowBroToe in Palworld
One notable glitch sparked a peculiar theory drawing parallels to the movie "The Truman Show" in which the protagonist Truman is trapped in a simulation for the entertainment of the world. A player in Palworld recently discovered an in-game phenomenon that resembles a long crack in the sky and shared it on Reddit. Shortly after, more and more players became aware of it and commented "Truman Show confirmed," or the famous movie quote: "Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!"
Apparently, this bug has already been observed by many players who are now trying to see it as the lore of the game. Many imagine a pal sphere, that everyone is trapped inside which is also the reason it never rains. Although all of these theories are completely far-fetched and absurd, it's an entertaining way to poke fun at the many bugs and enjoy the game even in this unfinished state.
