Not only can anime fans rest easy with an insane lineup of shows on Crunchyroll's streaming service this Spring 2024, but they can also get up and go to the movies, with the anime distributor revealing multiple release dates for some of the most anticipated anime films this year.
One of the highest grossing anime films in Japan, Haikyu!! Battle of the Garbage Dump is heading to theaters, along with two more, so when are they playing?
Three Anime Movies Getting International Release Dates
At this year's CinemaCon, Crunchyroll revealed that they acquired the rights for three anime movies to show them in North America, as well as in other selected areas. Fans can expect to see Haikyu!! Battle of the Garbage Dump, Blue Lock: Episode Nagi and Overlord: The Secret Kingdom in theaters very soon.
The Blue Lock film will release in North America on June 28, with more dates internationally to follow. Similarly, the release for Overlord: The Secret Kingdom has also just been confirmed to be getting an international release, though the dates have not been confirmed by Crunchyroll yet.

The Haikyu!! movie follows the Karasuno volleyball club as they advance to the third round of nationals, where they will finally meet their long time rivals Nekoma. Both teams can finally go head-to-head in the Battle of the Garbage Dump.
The movie will release on these dates internationally:
