Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Hashira Training Coming In May
An official release date for the Crunchyroll premiere of the fourth Demon Slayer season has been revealed. Fans of the show won't have to wait much longer, with the first episode getting released on May 12, 2024.
The fourth season will follow Tanjiro and his friends as they get trained by the Hashira — the strongest Demon Slayers, as they prepare for an upcoming battle against Muzan and his demons.
In the Hashira Training Arc of Demon Slayer, Tanjiro and his comrades undergo rigorous training led by the Hashira, the elite demon slayers, to enhance their abilities. They face grueling physical and mental challenges, aiming to master Total Concentration Breathing constantly to increase their power and resilience against demons.
This was a very short arc in the manga, spanning only 9 chapters, but it is a key build up to the final arc, which is the Final Battle Arc of the manga. It'll be interesting to see how ufotable adapts it and whether the Hashira Training story is going to include filler, or already move into the Infinity Castle Arc, which is the first part of the final Demon Slayer part.
