When the next installment of the show will come out is still up in the air so if you want to find out what happens next after the tragedy that was the Shibuya Arc you'll have to continue by reading the manga from Gege Akutami .
But it seems that the show was so popular that it's even broken world records, something the Guinness Book of World Records just revealed on their social media account even.
Jujutsu Kaisen Breaks Attack on Titan's World Record
According to data from Parrot Analyltics, Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most in-demand shows worldwide, with it being one of the most watched and anticipated shows in the United States. Parrot Analytics compiles billions of data points, like consumption (streaming and downloads) and social media engagement, as well as doing research on forums and websites like IMDB to come up with their ranking.
Their data has found that Jujutsu Kaisen was the most in-demand television show worldwide in 2023, beating out the likes The Witcher and The Last of Us. It wasn't that Jujutsu Kaisen also didn't have any competition to become the most popular anime. Thanks to the popularity of the 2023 Netflix live-action adaptation, One Piece was in the running for most popular show, but thanks to its strong finish at the end of the year, Jujutsu Kaisen managed to overtake the OG anime and take the number one spot.
Jujutsu Kaisen seems to have a demand rating that is 42 times bigger than the average TV series in America, which just goes to show how popular and mainstream anime has become. But now, the show is going to go on hiatus until we can move onto the Culling Game Arc in season 3, will a new series topple Jujutsu Kaisen off it's throne in 2024?
