Daisy Ridley Is Ready To Become Jedi Master
Rey might be one of the more controversial characters from the most recent Star Wars films, but she was never a bad protagonist. The thing that irked most was probably the very forced love affair between her and Kylo Ren.
Disney and Lucasfilm are currently working on the next big Star Wars movie, New Jedi Order and while there isn't much known about the movie itself, it seems that Daisy Ridley has already gotten some information on the upcoming film and is excited to get back into the role of Rey.
She revealed in an interview with Empire that she feels more grown up and that she finally feels like an adult going into the next part of her Star Wars saga.
Basically, I’m an adult now. I certainly did not feel like an adult at the time. Obviously, personally, things have changed, and professionally, I’ve had lots of other experiences, and so I definitely feel like it’s a different thing this time.
Since she was last on-screen as Rey, Ridley has worked on smaller projects like Chaos Walking and The March King's Daughter, giving her more experience as an actress. These experiences will definitely help her in growing her character as Rey.
While the story of the New Jedi Order has not been revealed yet, Ridley is excited to jump back into the world of Star Wars, stating that the movies "bring a lot of love and joy to a lot of people" which is why she wants to continue in the franchise.
