BeastMode has won EarlyGame's Player of the Month for February of 2022. Why? Well, because he has had a hell of a month!
The RLCS 2021-22 Winter Split Majors are coming, and one team has overtaken the North American leaderboards more than we could have ever expected. Will they become RLCS 2021-22 Winter Split Champions? Well, we'll have to wait until the Majors to find that out, but what we can say, is that Version1 is the team defying all expectations this season. Why is this? Well, we believe that one principal reason among many is the involvement of a single person - BeastMode! This is why BeastMode is EarlyGame's Rocket League Player of the Month for February of 2022...

Who is BeastMode?
Landon "BeastMode" Konerman is a 16-year-old American Rocket League pro who plays for Version1. With a total winning of approximately $40,875 USD as of writing, BeastMode has played a huge role in bringing Version1 into the upcoming RLCS 2021-22 Winter Split Majors in March 2022. He was extraordinary, delivering a solo play that stunned onlookers and became the first of many goals scored by Version1 in the Grand Finals of the RLCS Mobil 1 Mountain Classic Regional Champion. This is a rise that no one could have anticipated...
BeastMode only started his career in Rocket League esports a year and a half ago, in 2020. Between July 2020 and April 2021, BeastMode played as part of the Kansas City Pioneers, taking the team through the tail-end of RLCS 9 and the first part of RLCS X. After a brief stint with Shopify Rebellion (between April 2021 and October 2021) that saw them through the end of RLCS X, BeastMode started off his career with Version 1 on January 2, 2022. Last year, when playing for Shopify Rebellion, BeastMode even played in the WePlay Esports Invitational (featuring Rocket League)!

The main reason for BeastMode being our Rocket League Player of the Month for February 2022, though, is that this is an insanely young Rocket League player who has seen extraordinary success in a very small amount of time. With his entire career-so-far operating within the confines of the Covid-19 Pandemic, BeastMode has gone from completely invisible to a player who is winning critical goals in the RLCS 2021-22 Season. Version1 are surely happy to have him. Good game, mate.
