The RLCS 2021-22 Fall Majors have ended, and one team has sped to the top of the leaderboards, garnering the position of RLCS 2021-22 Fall Split Champions. Who are these mythical figures? Who was it that we established won the Championships back in early-mid December? Well, look, if you haven't read that article we'll forgive you. The answer, my friend, is Team BDS (not to be mistaken with Team BDSM). It is thus, without further a-do, that I announce that Extra is EarlyGame's Rocket League Player of the Month for December of 2021...

Who is Extra?
Alex "Extra" Paoli is a 20-year-old French Rocket League Pro who plays for Team BDS. With a total winning of $210,620 USD as of writing, Extra has played a huge role in bringing Team BDS to the forefront of the Rocket League Championship Series in the 2021-22 Season. He played unbelievably well, he scored a ton of goals, and he was instrumental in the victory that shot Team BDS into the limelight, making them RLCS 2021-22 Fall Split Major Champions.
Extra started off his Rocket League Esports career back in 2018, playing with a number of relatively unknown esports teams throughout 2018 and 2019, until he joined AS Monaco Esports in October 2019. After a brief stint for Monaco Esports, Extra has played for Team BDS since July 2020. With his current Team, he has played his way through two absolutely fantastic RLCS Seasons, RLCS X and RLCS 2021-22, culminating in Team BDS's win in the recent Fall Split Majors. The historic win in RLCS 2021-22 dethroned The General NRG as Rocket League Champions, and is the reason why Extra is EarlyGame's Rocket League Player of the Month for December 2021.

The main reason for Extra being our Player of the Month, though, is that he has seen a meteoric rise over the last two years. Since the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Extra has gone from being a relatively unknown Rocket League player who had just joined AS Monaco Esports, to a hugely successful and famous player in the RLCS 2021-22 Fall Majors. Team BDS has done a lot for him, and he has done a lot for Team BDS. Good game, mate.
