As the Winter Split Majors get ever closer, we have finally received the selection of groups and teams that will be competing. RLCS 2021-22 is finally starting to pull the Championship Series out of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the Winter Split Majors reintroducing a live audience for the first time since pre-Covid times. It's exciting, and considering the selection of teams that we will be seeing compete, we're in for a pretty solid show.

Last week, both Team Queso and FURIA launched their way into the RLCS 2021-22 Winter Split Majors, following Version1, Team BDS and NRG in prior weeks. It has been a good competition, with some teams doing far better than could ever have been anticipated when the Fall Split began back in October 2021. Yes, we're aware that there couldn't be anything more cliché than a nice big live event in forking L.A., but let's be really honest with each other: is there anything original about Rocket League or the RLCS? We jest...

The following are the Groups that will be participating in the first stage of the RLCS 2021-22 Winter Split Majors. We have broken them up into all four separate groups and their respective teams, as according to information provided by Rocket League Esports on Twitter.

These four different groups will compete against each other, narrowing down the overall victors before heading into those final, fantastic and delicious rounds. This is a pretty interesting selection of teams from right across the world, from the North American Regionals, South American Regionals, EMEA Regionals and Oceania Regionals. Are you hyped? We are!
