How Does the Rocket League Item Shop Work?

The Rocket League Item Shop features a daily rotation of various Rocket League items, with different decals, wheels, and more, available each and every day. There are also featured items, which are higher-value items that remain available for longer than the forever-rotating daily items, but appear in the Item Shop at a lower frequency. We have differentiated between daily and featured items in the table above, to make everything clear. All Rocket League items must be purchased using Rocket League Credits.

Separately, the Rocket League Item Shop also features a number of different bundles (also listed above), as well as a selection of items available in the Esports Shop. Keep in mind that not all of the bundles in the Rocket League Item shop are purchasable with Rocket League Tokens, with some (such as the Red Hot Bundle) requiring you to purchase it with real-life money. You can check out the current contents of the Esports Shop in the gallery below, where you can see all 34 RLCS 2021-22 Esports Decals. Each of the listed Esports Decals cost 300 Esports Tokens, the equivalent of about $2.50 USD (Esports Tokens are sold in packs of 100 for $0.99 USD or 600 for $4.99 USD).

How to Trade in Rocket League With RL Credits

You can trade in Rocket League from the dedicated trade-ins screen. Keep in mind that certain items cannot be traded, such as items purchased in the Rocket League Item Shop. These can include limited-time bundles, various items, and more. Alternatively, you can also trade with your party in Rocket League. To do so, follow the steps below:

  • Create a party in Rocket League.
  • Invite a friend, or another player, to that party.
  • Select "Invite to Trade".
  • Speak with the player about what they want to trade.
  • Make a decision in conjunction with said player.
  • Select the items that you would like to trade.
  • Accept the trade.
  • Enjoy your new items.

How Much Do Rocket League Credits Cost?

  • 500 Credits: $4.99 USD or region equivalent
  • 1100 Credits: $9.99 USD or regional equivalent
  • 3000 Credits: $24.99 USD or regional equivalent
  • 6500 Credits: $49.99 USD or regional equivalent

It's important to keep in mind that Rocket League Credits are critical for purchasing goodies in the Rocket League Item Shop. The daily rotation, as shown above, always requires the use of these aforementioned credits, which are only available for purchase in set amounts. Epic Games are pretty obsessed with getting as much money as possible out of you, and will charge you for uneven quantities of Credits to force you into purchasing more than you need. In other words, you can purchase Rocket League Credits in rounds of 500, 1100, 3000, and 6500, but most items are more like 300, or 1000, or 2500. I guess that's just how the world works nowadays, isn't it?
