The EM2 was very popular in the last few months of Black Ops Cold War, but at that time it was being used as a long-range AR. It was restricted to the higher-skilled playerbase because it produced so much recoil, but then a series of nerfs made the recoil even worse, and it felt out of favor. However, players have been rediscovering this rifle's usefulness when used as a sniper support rather than a traditional AR. We're keeping the Agency Suppressor and Field Agent Grip from the previous meta build, but for the other three attachments we're going less for range and more for mobility. So we're taking the Microflex over the Axial Arms, the Airborne Elastic Wrap over a long barrel, and 40 round mags over 50. These changes will give us a fast enough ADS and sprint-out to use this thing as an effective sniper support.

After almost all snipers got a heavy nerf in Vanguard Season 3, the Swiss K31 and Kar98k are finally no longer the best snipers in the game. Instead, the older, heavy snipers like the HDR, AX-50 or even the ZRG are really strong again. They can still dish out one-shots at huge ranges and have tremendous bullet speed. The Best Equipment For The EM2

As a sniper, you won't be getting much use out of equipment anyhow, but Snapshot Grenades have been buffed recently are very impressive right now, and Semtex is a great do-it-all Lethal choice. But there are many viable options here, so if you prefer a Heartbeat Sensor and C4, or even Claymores, go for it.

The Best Perks For The EM2

For the perks, let's do something crazy and not take the cold blooded/combat scout combo. Instead, we're taking Amped, which is always useful in sniper/sniper support loadouts. We're also taking E.O.D. because it's the kind of passive buff you'll always get at least some use out of, no matter how you're playing. And Overkill is a requirement for any loadout that uses two primary weapons.

If the EM2 is still giving you too much kick to use effectively, consider trying something easier like the XM4. But if you want to have the best sniper support out there, maybe give the Grav a shot.
