The big mid-season update of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 released on May 10, along with newly published patch notes detailing both new and returning features to the game.
Deployable Buy Stations Are Back
The deployable buy station really is a potential game-changer in Battle Royale gameplay, as it has the ability to alter the game's dynamics.
By carrying this station in your inventory, you definitely gain an advantage. It allows you to purchase essential equipment for your team wherever you are, even when no nearby buy station is available. This could potentially turn the tide of the game and lead your team to victory, especially with the possibility to buy a loadout at any place on the map.

Players can acquire this new Field Upgrade through ground loot or Supply Boxes, which allows them to call in a drone that will drop a Deployable Buy Station at a designated location indicated by green smoke. However, the delivery drone can be shot down by any player, and an announcement will be made to all players within close proximity once the Buy Station deploy marker has been set. Additionally, icons on both the Tac Map and minimap will be visible to all players, regardless of distance.
More Buy Stations & Deployable Buy Stations
After several other new features in MW2 and WZ2 Season 3 Reloaded, the list of returning items is continued by the deployable buy station, a portable version of the buy station with limited stock.
