Hackers are doing their hacky-hacky things, but now they are using Foot Pedals? What the hell?
Warzone hackers and cheaters are the absolute bane of our existence. I mean, honestly, how scummy can you be to actively cheat in a game where you're supposed to be having fun, ruining everyone else's experience? Well, look, the reality is that there are always going to be scumbags out there. With the new Ricochet Anti-Cheat in-place, though, they're going to need to find even more inventive ways to make other people's games a misery.
They are getting so inventive, in fact, that it seems that some hackers are turning to external inputs to activate cheats in-game. These quick-fire methods mean that players will have less of a problem with anti-cheat software as the cheats are active for only a very short amount of time. It seems that after many, many ban-waves, people remain undeterred.
It's a real shame, too, cause Call of Duty: Warzone's new Caldera map is shaping up to be even better than Verdansk, and with the new Rebirth Island now on the table, the game is an absolute joy to play at the moment. The problem: hackers and cheaters don't care about your joy, they only care about themselves. We commend Activision and Raven for trying to take a stand, but there's only so far they can go when the game is free-to-play!
Warzone Hackers Using Foot Pedals to Cheat
That's right, hackers are turning to guitar-style foot pedals to toggle cheats on and off in Warzone. This method seems to be so that the cheats are not permanently on whilst they play, making it harder for Ricochet to detect and punish them for such behavior. It is very inventive, we'll give them that, but why do people feel the need to go to such length to cheat in a bloody video game?
A video posted by @StoolGametime on Twitter shows the cheat in question, with a livestream of the player's feet displaying the crazy lengths to which players like this go to for a quick and easy kill.
Seriously, this crud's wild, check it out!

We're not really sure what else to say, if we're honest with you. This behavior is just so utterly unacceptable, don't these guys adhere to the gamer's code: don't be an [insert rude word here]! These guys think they're so cool because they use creative cheats like this to avoid even needing to be good at the game. Alternatively, they could just log into Warzone, play it a ton, and actually get good at the game? Maybe that's just too much to ask of some people...
