Netflix already confirms The Witcher season 5. While we will see a season 3 in June in 2023 we already know some things about season 4 – and now 5.
The third season of the Witcher series, starring Henry Cavill in the title role, will debut on Netflix next month. However, the actor has already resigned and announced that he will not star in the next seasons.
Netflix, nevertheless, does not want to end the story and has decided to create two more seasons, with a new main actor.
The Witcher Season 5 Confirmed – With Liam Hemsworth
In addition to the official confirmation itself about the already planned season 5 of The Witcher, we also received news that Henry Cavill will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth.
Sophie Holland, who is the casting director for the series, announced that Netflix is planning at least two seasons in the near future, also starring Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia.
Per Sophie Holland:
We’re just about to start filming on season four with Liam Hemsworth and there will be a short gap then we go straight into season five.
So we are left to be patient, as the release date for season 5 is still unknown.
