Deadpool 3 is facing a setback before filming has even begun, with Ryan Reynold being unable to improvise lines.
Deadpool 3 is still more than a year away, but it looks like filming is starting soon. The problem is, with the Writers Guild of America striking at the moment, it seems like they're trying to silence the Merc with a Mouth.
Deadpool a.k.a. Wade Wilson, is a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary, who gained crazy healing powers, as well as the ugliest face you can imagine (seriously, his face looks like a pizza with random toppings).
Adopting the alter ego Deadpool, he uses his sarcastic wit and combat skills to take down bad guys while breaking the fourth wall and delivering hilarious jokes (mostly at the expense of others) during his R-rated adventures.

In the previous movies, Ryan Reynold always loved to add improvised lines to portray the Merc with a Mouth to perfection, but in the new release it seems like he won't be able to do so (sadly).
Writers Guild of America Strike Delays Deadpool 3
Initially, the movie was supposed to start filming on May 1, but due to the Writers Guild of America strike this didn't happen, as was first reported by Hollywood Reporter.
That's not all, though, as because of the strike, it seems like Ryan Reynolds also won't be able to improvise any of his lines until the strike is over.
The problem is that Reynolds is known for working as a writer on some of the movies he's worked on, especially in the case of Deadpool. Normally that would be a great thing, as he is able to add spontaneous epiphanies to the script, but in this case it puts him on a very short leash.

With the strike rules as they are now, Reynolds (as a writer) is not allowed to deviate from the script whatsoever!
Maybe they can work around this, by having the producers and directors make "casual minor adjustments in dialogue or narration made prior to or during the period of principal photography".
I mean, if Reynolds tells them the jokes he wants to say, and they make minor adjustments to the script, who will know?
One thing is for sure, without Ryan Reynold's improvised lines, Deadpool 3 won't be anywhere close as entertaining as it would be with them!
Let's see how the MCU plans to step up their game! Looks like they might just try to upgrade their cast for future releases:
