Tom Cruise is famous for doing his own wild stunts, even if he sometimes gets hurt, like when he broke his ankle. At 61, the popular actor now revealed that he wants to keep acting and doing these stunts until he's 80. Which is pretty hardcore to be honest!

The “Mission Impossible” movies are based on an old 1960s TV show and show the spectacular Ethan Hunt, played by Cruise, as a top spy handling big dangers using stunts, fights, gadgets, and disguises. These movies have been around for years, only getting better with each new installment, and Cruise says they'll continue to do so for decades to come.

Tom Cruise Shows Incredible Commitment To Mission Impossible Franchise

In a recent interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, the actor was talking about the newest Mission Impossible movie, when the topic somehow changed to Harrison Ford and his legacy. This prompted Tom Cruise to reveal his own plans for the future.

Apparently, the actor plans to continue working on Mission Impossible movies until he's 81-years-old.

Harrison Ford is a legend – I hope to be still going – I’ve got 20 years to catch up with him. I hope to keep making Mission: Impossible films until I’m his age.

That's just an insane level of commitment to his most reprised franchise, but looking at how well the movies continue to do at the box office, it definitely seems like it works out.

Things don't always go as planned, remember, Henry Cavill wanted to play The Witcher for about 7 seasons:
