Here's how to beat the Ice Worm boss in Armored Core 6. We'll cover setting up your weapons, dealing with its movements, and the overall strategy.
AC Setup
Make sure you equip the Stun Needle Launcher called VE-60SNA on either your R-Back Unit or L-Back Unit before starting. This weapon is a must-have. It's important to defeat the Ice Worm.
Boss Movement
- In the battle, the Ice Worm will pop in and out of the ground.
- You need to face its "face" directly towards you.
- Use the VE-60SNA to shoot it. Remember, the weapon takes a bit to power up, so shoot a bit early.
- You can track the boss using the compass at the bottom of your screen.
Boss Strategy
- A good shot will break the Ice Worm's Shield.
- Then, your Allies can hit it from far away.
- When the Ice Worm falls, attack with missiles and close-up melee hits.
- You might need to do this process two or three times, depending on how much damage you deal.
Critical Phase
- As the Ice Worm's health drops to about one-third, it'll go after your Allies.
