During The Game Awards 2022, FromSoftware surprisingly revealed that their next big game will be Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon . The classic franchise will come back for the first entry since 2012 and people are rightfully excited for it.

A release window for 2023 has already been confirmed, but fans are obviously wondering when exactly we will get FromSoft’s Mech-Action extravaganza. We might have the answer now, thanks to a known leaker.

Armored Core 6 To Release In August 2023

These new details were revealed by Insider Gaming, who reliably revealed insider info on games before.

According to them and their sources, Armored Core 6 will be released in August 2023, specifically on August 25, 2023. Obviously, this hasn't been officially confirmed and is subject to change, but as mentioned before, Insider Gaming's sources are pretty reliable.

The summer months generally are pretty thin in terms of game releases, so we could definitely see Armored Core make a big splash during that time. The game has also been in development for a while, so this release time would make perfect sense.

It has already been rumored for quite a while that Armored Core will make an appearance at Summer Game Fest on June 8th and an official release date could be revealed even sooner. June isn't that far off, so not too long until we can see what FromSoftware has cooking over there. Thankfully we have other amazing games to tide us over until then, like Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Final Fantasy 16. But us FromSoft fanboys really only want Armored Core, so let’s hope it does actually come out in August and won’t be further delayed.
