Assassin's Creed is making the jump to mobile with AC Codename Jade - which will also bring the AC experience to ancient China.
Ok, so we got a bunch of Assassin's Creed games coming to the big consoles and PC, namely Mirage, Hexe, Codename Red, and Infinity. That's a lot of Assassin's Creed already, so to make sure that nobody misses out on the AC glory, Ubisoft is now bringing the franchise to mobile devices via a setting that many have been itching for: Ancient China.
Assassin's Creed Codename Jade Is Coming to Mobile
Assassin's Creed Codename Jade is said to have "classic" Assassin's Creed gameplay. Let's be honest here: That's just a fancy way of saying that it will be like the older AC games, because that's all mobile devices can handle. The game will be set in ancient China, specifically around the year 215 BCE, with parkour all over the place, including the Great Wall of China.
One notable feature about Assassin's Creed Jade is that it will be the first AC game to let you create your own character. An interesting move by Ubisoft, since this much requested feature will surely make console and PC players jealous. That's a brilliant idea in that it makes it enticing to play AC Jade, but on the other hand a custom character speaks to the fact that the game will likely not be as cinematic as we're used to from other Assassin's Creed games.
