So by now, you know that Microsoft bought Activision. What you might not know is that this means that Microsoft also just acquired some Sony icons.
How did Microsoft sneakily acquire some Sony IPs? Well, it's easy: They bought Activision, and Activision is just that huge. (Yup, that's a porn reference, and I stand by it). If you don't know, Activision also owns Blizzard, Demonware, and... Toys for Bob. Yes, Toys for Bob. Wtf is that, you ask? Me too. Turns out, Toys for Bob is the team behind Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. Yes... what the actual, f***, right?
So... Crash Bandicoot and Spyro are now... Team Microsoft. Let that sink in.

Does this mean that you will never get to play Crash on a PlayStation again? Not necessarily, but if the Bethesda acquisition is any indication... probably. By that, I mean that The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield will both be Xbox exclusives, so it doesn't seem like Microsoft is too keen on sharing what they bought.
Well... that's only half-right, Microsoft does offer Game Pass, so you don't need an Xbox to play these games, you just can't play them on a PlayStation anymore. While this is kind of sad, Game Pass is easily the best deal in gaming, and you can get it for $1 with our trick. Also, Sony is long overdue in revealing their rumored Game Pass competitor, so they really only have themselves to blame.
