Fortunately, the prices for Evil West aren’t overwhelming when compared to AAA+ games like Horizon Forbidden West or The Last of Us Remake. This means we shouldn’t have any issues purchasing this game when it’s discounted, as the cost will be dramatically reduced. We’d recommend waiting for discount sales if you’re someone on a tight budget. Otherwise, this game should be experienced on day one.

Game Setting, Story, And Everything We Know About Evil West

As previously mentioned, Western America is being utilized as the game setting for Evil West. But that doesn’t mean we will be limited to travelling around the desert, as Flying Wild Hog has developed numerous locations into their upcoming game. For instance, the extended gameplay trailer revealed underground dungeons with Native American architecture.

These dungeons provide an entirely different atmosphere to Evil West, as the game stops feeling like a cowboy’s adventure & more like an experience in Gears of War. Fortunately for us, these environments are intermixed regularly throughout the campaign. This means you won’t be stuck in one location for an overwhelming time.

Exploration and combat are two defining features of Evil West. You’ll explore new locations that lead toward ancient beasts in the old west and what we believe to be the Yucatan Peninsula. Inside these archaic beasts will be numerous creatures that mean to do us harm. However, those creatures will seem insignificant in comparison to the boss battles.

We want to mention that you’ll have access to various combat mechanics. You can combine these combat mechanics to create incredible gameplay moments within Evil West, and we’re confident that this will become the defining feature of Flying Wild Hog’s upcoming game.

Will Evil West Have Multiplayer?

Flying Wild Hog and Focus Entertainment have confirmed that Evil West supports an online multiplayer mode. We haven’t seen any footage of this multiplayer mode, leading some to speculate if that feature has been abandoned.

We can confirm that co-op gameplay is supported and available to anyone that purchases this game, meaning that you can fight against vampires with your closest friends in Evil West, and we think that’s amazing.

Is Evil West Coming To Xbox Series X/S And PC?

Evil West is launching onto numerous consoles, including the Xbox Series X/S and PC. As previously mentioned, you can preorder this game now for EUR 49.99/GPB 39.99/CAD 64.99/USD 59.99. The additional consoles supported include:

Anyone wanting to experience Evil West at 4K 60FPS must own an Xbox Series X/S, PC, or PlayStation5. Maintaining this frame rate on the last generation of consoles isn’t possible.

Is Evil West Part of The Game Pass On Xbox?

Unfortunately, there isn’t anything to suggest that Focus Entertainment is launching Evil West onto the Xbox Game Pass or PS+ Premium. This could mean direct purchases could be required on day one of launch. However, patient players could see Microsoft and Focus Entertainment launch Evil West onto the Game Pass.

We think it’d be financially wise for Focus Entertainment and Flying Wild Hog to launch Evil West onto the Xbox Game Pass. It would increase their user base of players while also maximizing the marketing opportunities of Evil West.
