The Final Fantasy universe is full of powerful characters with distinct abilities and powers. One aspect of the upcoming Final Fantasy 16 will be the special Eikons or summons. As the game will be released on June 22, we took a look at all the so far confirmed Eikons and Summons, to give you an oversight. So here is everything we know.
Final Fantasy 16: All Eikons & Summons
First, Eikons are useful and powerful summons in Final Fantasy, which grant special abilities to the characters in the game. To use an Eikon, the character has to be "Dominant", that means that this character is born with the ability to even host Eikons. So only a few people in Final Fantasy 16 are even able to use them. They can be controlled by humans, which serve them as host.
In Final Fantasy 16 the dominant characters can take the form of their Icon. Some footage already shows battles between different Eikons.

At the moment, we know about 10 confirmed Eikons so far, that can be used by the main characters like Clive Rosfield, his younger brother Joshua Rosfield or Benedikta Harman.
These Eikons are:
- Ifrit, which can be uses by the main protagonist, Clive Rosfield, since he's dominant on it. Ifrit seems to be an Eikon of Fire, that grants fire-based attacks and abilities for Clive.
- Phoenix, which can be used by Joshua Rosfield. It's most likely an Eikon of Fire as well, since it's characterized as a large fiery bird.
- Garuda, which is an Eikon for Benedikta Harman. It seems to be a winged Creature.
- Shiva, which is an Eikon of Ice. The character Jill Warrick is dominant on it, but gameplay clips showed that Clive might use it as well.
- Bahamut, which is shown as a giant dragon that uses flaming abilities and long range attacks. The crown prince Dion Lasage is dominant for Bahamut.
- Titan, which is a large Eikon, as the name already hints. It might also be the largest Icon in Final Fantasy 16 and is dominant by Hugo Kupka. It seems to be able to throw large boulders over a long distance.
- Typhon, which is characterized as just a floating torso. This Eikon uses wind abilities, and not much known is about this one. It's currently also unknown which character can dominate this Eikon.
- Titan Lost, which seems to be a gigantic stone-based Eikon. It's surrounded by large tentacles and can spawn crystals all over its body. It's also currently unknown which character is dominant about this icon.
- Ramuh, which is the Eikon of Thunder. Cidolfus Telamon is dominant about this Eikon, but footage shows, that Clive ca use the abilities of Ramuh as well.
- Odin, which is typically depicted riding a horseback and handling two absolute massive swords. Odin is the Eikon of Air, and the character Barnabas Tharmar is dominant.
Final Fantasy fans can be hyped about the possibilities this new Eikon system offers, and it will be interesting to see which other Eikons will be introduced into this universe. But one thing is for sure, there will some amazing boss battles in the upcoming Final Fantasy 16.
