While Final Fantasy 16 is one of the most linear games in the legendary RPG series, it will of course still offer plenty of side stuff to do. Among these extra activities are the so-called Notorious Marks and the Hunt Board. These offer particularly difficult fights for special rewards.
Final Fantasy 16 Hunt Board Offers Extra Challenges
You can find the Hunt Board in Cid’s Hideaway, the main hub in Final Fantasy 16. A Moogle named Otto is watching over the board, giving you monster hunting quests which you can see here.

The quests don’t need to be accepted here, instead you can just go out into the open world and go hunt for these monsters. Once you eliminated the targets, come back to the Hunt Board to cash in your rewards, which include money and renown.
Hunting For Notorious Marks
The monsters you’re hunting for are called Notorious Marks. These are split into ranks, with a C-rank monster being a weaker opponent than an S-rank one. The Hunt Board will show you, where you can find a Notorious Mark, what its rank is and what rewards you’ll get for slaying it.
