GTA 6 seems to be in a serious development hell. We have all the worrying details below.
First things first: This is a leak. Why do we care, and take it seriously, though? Because it's the same guy who correctly leaked Star Wars Eclipse. If you didn't know, Star Wars Eclipse was just revealed at the Game Awards. AccNGT correctly predicted what came to pass, so he's earned himself some credibility. Now the leaker claims to know that GTA 6 is in development hell, which goes hand-in-hand with rumors about GTA 6 that we reported on a while back.
GTA 6 Will Be Disappointing
About #GTAVI #GTA6- Some people don't realize how chaotic the development is.- I really think there will be disappointment for many people for some aspects (ofc not the graphic side).- If the game is announced this year / early 2022, we can really be worried.

There you have it, but just in case you can't see the tweet, or don't want to believe it, I'll repeat the pain: The GTA 6 development is super chaotic, the game might end up disappointing, and if it is announced early, it's a problem. Especially the latter is interesting, since it seems to suggest GTA 6 should be delayed. Obviously, Rockstar is walking a fine line here, since some already consider GTA 6 to be long overdue. Currently, the most realistic release date seems to be 2025. If the game is now delayed, we might be looking at something closer to 2030...
In case this is not worrying enough, the repots of a development hell came up in the past, and another insider also suggested that GTA 6 is having an identity crisis, and will be less edgy and funny than other GTA games of the past. All of this doesn't sound so good, and we can't help but think that the departure of Dan Houser took a huge toll on the game.
