Rockstar has finally confirmed that GTA 6 is in development, and now we want GTA 6 news more than ever before. Here's what Rockstar is planning to do.
GTA 6 was finally confirmed, and if you're anything like us, then you've never been more hungry for news on the game than now. It's like Rockstar meant well by finally letting us know the game is real, but now we're on their a** more than ever before. We want news. It's that simple. We can also speculate, like we did here, rumoring that the next GTA might not actually be GTA 6, but actual news from the developer are always better. So, this next headline... is not the news we wanted:
Rockstar Says Not To Expect GTA 6 News
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick says we should not expect a wave of GTA 6 news anytime soon. He says that Rockstar will take their time in revealing GTA 6, and that they will do it on their own schedule:
[We] always decide when and how to announce their upcoming products. Obviously people need to stay tuned, a lot more information to be shared and Rockstar will do so in time. Each iteration for all of our successful franchises at this company, all of them, has always done better than the one before. I’m not saying that’ll happen again, I’m not saying that’s guaranteed, but that’s certainly our goal.
So, all we get is that we get nothing, except that we should still stay tuned, and expect the game to be better than ever. Thanks, Zelnick, that helps a lot.
