Halo Infinite is about to get a new event. It is called Cyber Showdown, and it will come to the game very soon. After the mixed success of the first events Fractures: Tenrai and Winter Contingency, we are excited to see what 343 Industries have planned for us here. Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown Event: All Available Details

The event is now live! You can play Cyber Showdown in Halo Infinite and earn special rewards. Attrition is also live, a special Team Deathmatch mode where you can revive your teammates. Most of the details in this article are based on leaks, more specifically leaks by @HaloNoticiasMX on Twitter. That account is super legit, they have leaked almost anything going on with Halo Infinite, with pretty much everything coming true. So everything here is legit, trust me bro.
Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown Event: Attrition and New Modes
As part of Cyber Showdown, a bunch of new game modes will be introduced in Halo Infinite. These will be mostly objective based, including the long-awaited introduction of King of the Hill!

According to the leaks, another new game mode in Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown will be called Attrition. Unfortunately, this is the one aspect of the event we don't have any details on yet.
Considering the name, we expect Halo Infinite Attrition to be a sort of Deathmatch mode. Once we know more we will of course update this article and let you know more!
Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown Event: Rewards
One reason we even know about Attrition, is a leak showing the rewards for Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown. Just like with the previous events, Cyber Showdown will also have its own event pass, containing unique rewards relating to the event. I personally am very excited about the Needler-inspired Mohawk. In addition to the Event Pass rewards, Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown will also feature special Ultimate Rewards, as part of the weekly challenges during the event. These are a snazzy visor and a genuinely cool weapon skin. Check them out here:

Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown Event: Release Date
The Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown event will start on January 18 and end on January 31. So Cyber Showdown will actually last for two weeks, unlike the previous events. This should give everyone enough time, to finish all the related challenges and get those tasty rewards. Neat!
