The first reviews of Hogwarts Legacy are trickling in, and one critic has been revealing enough to provide fans with some exact details. So, thankfully, we now know the exact playtime, the amount of side-content, and whether romance is featured in the game at all.
The Hogwarts Legacy release date is almost upon us, and so we need to turn away from more speculative aspects of the game like potions, spells and monsters, and towards more practical concerns. Reviews are already being published, after all.
One of the key criteria for a lot of potential-buyers will be the side-content. How many side-quests do you get? What about mini-games? And, can we romance the NPCs? Luckily, we can now answer all of those questions for you, thanks to a particularly revealing early preview of the game.
Hogwarts Legacy Preview Reveals All
While many of the first write-ups focused on the quality of the game (with many praising the combat in particularly), gamepro.de instead provided a lot of details on the sheer quantity of game we could expect. Thanks to them, fans now know the estimated playtime for a side-quest heavy playthrough, as well as the actual number of side-quests and mini-games in Hogwarts Legacy. And we don't think fans will be disappointed.
Here are the key side-content details we now know:
- You can get up to 120 hours of playtime out of one playthrough.
- There are 150 side-quests in Hogwarts Legacy.
- There are many mini-games in Hogwarts Legacy.
- We cannot romance NPCs in Hogwarts Legacy (which is good, because it is after all a story about children).
- There are four levels of difficulty to pick from.
So, if you were worried about the sheer volume of content you were getting, we've hopefully been able to put your mind at ease.
What difficulty will you pick from? And have you decided which Hogwarts House you will join in Hogwarts Legacy?
