Ubisoft is working on multiple game titles right now, some of which have already been revealed, but a leaker has also hinted that Fenyx Rising and Prince of Persia will have new games in their series.
With it being unsure whether E3 is happening online, offline or even at all, video game developers are gearing up for their own showcases to show off upcoming games. One of the biggest studios is definitely Ubisoft who have quite a few titles under their belt.
According to known leaker Tom Henderson, Ubisoft currently has 20 games lined up and ready to present. Some of the games we already know about, but which are the new titles the developer could be working on?
Immortals Fenyx Rising Sequel
One of the games Tom Henderson wrote about on the blog post is a sequel to the 2020 game Immortals Fenyx Rising. According to sources, the game is in development right now, but it will still take a while until we get our fingers on it, since it's only in the pre-production phase.
It is the Ubisoft Quebec team working on the game who is also working on a new Assassin's Creed title, which is why the team is expanding to have the manpower to bring Immortals Fenyx Rising 2 into our hands.
Assassin's Creed Rift Coming Soon
Assassin's Creed Rift seems to be on schedule. What had started out as a mere DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla has since become its own full-fledged game, which is set to release in the first Quarter of 2023.
The game was first reported in February and has since become an anticipated game in the series. Of course, this game will have to state us over until the release of Assassin's Creed Infinity, which should be released in 2024 or even 2025.
Unnamed Prince of Persia Game in Development
We know that Ubisoft is quietly working on the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake, but when this is going to be released and any information has been kept well-hidden by Ubisoft.
But it seems that a second Prince of Persia title is currently in development with Ubisoft Montpellier. The game is described as taking "inspiration from Ori" and will be a 2.5D game.
When Will Ubisoft Reveal More?
As already mentioned, with E3 being in question, it seems like Ubisoft is gearing up for their own reveal event. This will likely be coming sometime in the summer, either in May or June. Until then, we will have to rely on leaks and information slips to get our fill on upcoming Ubisoft games.
