One of the basic items that you'll want to look for in Lies of P is quartz. In order to upgrade your skills, you'll have to use quartz to do so. So, if you want to find a bunch of quartz to beat your enemies with ease in Lies of P, we'll show you where to find it!
A key feature of Lies of P is Pinocchio's P-Organ. In order to upgrade your skills in the newest Souls-like game, you'll have to first unlock the ability to use your P-Organ and then upgrade your different skills in the P-Organ using quartz.

Lies of P: The P-Organ System Explained
While it isn't too complicated to use, getting a hold of enough quartz to upgrade your P-Organ consistently can be a bit more tricky, especially if you don't know where to look. Don't worry, we've found out all currently known locations for quartz in Lies of P and comprised a list for you!
Lies of P: All Quartz Locations
The thing about quartz is that it doesn't just drop like common items do and as such, it can't be farmed either. Instead, there are 24 set locations where you can find quartz in Lies of P.
Some pieces of quartz are easy to obtain in a boss fight, and others can take a bit of puzzle solving and sleuthing to find them.
Abandoned Apartment / Arche Abbey Broken Rift
Inside the foggy area of the Arche Abbey Broken Rift is a ladder that you'll want to climb. Just go straight down the path until you find an enemy guarding a chest.
Beat him and open the chest to get a Cryptic Vessel. Don't forget to use the Reborn Champion’s Ergo to grab the Frozen Feast Special Weapon while you're there.
Bring that vessel to Venigni at Hotel Krat and have it decrypted by him. After that, head to the Abandoned Apartment stargazer and go up the stairs to leave the building.
From there, you'll want to go past the sign, but not through the gate. Just go across the chasm using a small piece of rock near where you should be standing and continue to the right and then to the left.
Then, take the staircase that's the furthest away from you and equip the Frozen Feast Special Weapon from earlier. Talk to the Wandering Merchant and get that piece of quartz!
Arche Abbey Broken Rift
- The first one is easy. All you have to do is defeat the large Pinocchio toy to have it drop a piece of quartz.
- Continue on past the Pinocchio toy to find two large swordsmen, who you'll want to fight and beat. Once you've completed that, look for a ladder near that area and head up the ladder. Go down the path filled with traps and be careful to not step in any of them. At the end of the path is another chest filled with quartz!
Arche Abbey Outer Wall
You'll have to get a Trinity Key by solving the riddle given to you at the telephone near the Krat Central Station Street stargazer, before you can continue here. After you've gotten the Trinity Key, go through the Arche Abbey Outer Wall until you find a room with two beams in the middle to get to the Trinity Sanctum.
From there, go to the bottom of this room and go into the Trinity Sanctum and speak to Arlecchino. No matter whether you lie or tell the truth, you'll get the piece of quartz from him.
Arche Abbey Upper Part – Internal Bridge
While here, defeat the elite Disruption enemy, which should be easy to find. Once you've killed it, grab the quartz they dropped.
Ascension Bridge
To get this piece of quartz, you just have to beat the screaming enemy for it to drop the quartz.
Barren Swamp
The Barren Swamp, despite its name, is loaded with quartz! This is the place to go in Lies of P, if you want to find a bunch of quartz in one area.
- Go to the Barren Swamp stargazer to find the Broken Puppet. Talk to him and show him the gestures that he wants to learn in order to get the quartz.
- There are two Puppets of the Future in this area. Defeat the first Puppet of the Future and it will drop the quartz.
- Find the second Puppet of the Future in this Lies of P area and repeat the steps from 2.
Lies of P Co-Op & Multiplayer: Can You Play With Friends?
Barren Swamp Bridge – Hermit’s Cave
This Lies of P area also holds multiple pieces of quartz, but this time only two.
- Look for the Explorer Hugo by the gate behind the Stargazer and talk to him. He'll then give you two items, the Special Krat Supply Box and a Cryptic Vessel. Go back to Hotel Krat and give Venigni the vessel to decrypt once again. After that's done, go to the Path of the Pilgrim's stargazer and look for a house nearby and go down the elevator inside. Then go back up the hill to find the Slum Resident and get the Robber's Shack Key from him. Use it to open up a nearby building and get your next piece of quartz.
- Remember the Special Krat Supply Box we just talked about? Give it to Polendina and then buy the Rust Cryptic Vessel from him. Again, let Venigni decrypt it and then go back to the Barren Swamp Bridge stargazer. The gate that Hugo was standing in front of should now be open. Go through the gate and look for the safe at the end of the cave to find the quartz.
Estella Opera House Entrance
First, get the Trinity Key from the telephone near the Grand Exhibition Gallery by solving the King of Riddles' riddle. Then, go to the Estella Opera House entrance and drop down from the room with the swinging chandelier. There, you'll find a Trinity Sanctum, which you can open with your key.
You'll have to answer another riddle, and spoilers: the answer is candle.
Hotel Krat
This time round, you won't have to beat any bosses or look for the next piece for too long. First, you'll want to find the Sturdy Krat Supply Box, which you can find near the ladder at the Grand Exhibition Gallery.
Once you've found the box, bring it back to the hotel and give it to Polendina. Then, you'll be able to buy a piece of quartz from him, it's as easy as that.
Inside The House On Elysion Boulevard / St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel
This quartz will take a bit longer to find in Lies of P, as you'll have to solve a few puzzles to get to it.
Once you're inside the house on Elysion Boulevard, climb all the way up to the top of the room with the spinning cogs. From there, you're going to want to push the brazier over the edge, so it'll fall all the way down to the bottom and burn away all that goop that usually causes decay.
Lies of P on Xbox Game Pass: Availability Check
After you've done that, it's safe to go to the bottom of the room. There, you'll want to look for a new passage that takes you down to a room with a chest in it, which contains a Cryptic Vessel. In order to decrypt it, you'll have to go back to Hotel Krat and give it to Venigni to decrypt it for you. By doing so, you'll get a clue that will lead you back to the house of Elysion Boulevard (what a wild goose chase).
Go down the elevator and head down the street to Krat City Hall and look for the hanging puppet that you found out about in the clue. Now, just fling something at the puppet to get another clue. With that clue in hand, you can use the Krat City Hall stargazer to return to the House on Elysion Boulevard stargazer, where two enemies will be waiting for you. Kill both of them and check where the first puppet was hiding to find a door, that will lead you to another safe with the piece of quartz inside!
Krat Central Station Platform
Starting at the stargazer, drop down to your left to find the chest filled with quartz in the decayed area. You'll probably want to destroy the fungus that's controlling the decay first, though.
Krat Central Station Street
Defeat the Corrupted Parade Master to have him drop a piece of quartz.
Malum District
In the Malum District, look for the square that's jam-packed with decay-throwing enemies. Thankfully, you won't have to fight them to get the quartz. Instead, look for a building nearby with crates on its threshold, and go inside to find a chest filled with quartz.
Malum District Town Hall
All you have to do is kill the Eldest of the Black Rabbit and then go inside their hideout to find a chest behind the counter. Open it and voilà! You've found another piece of quartz in Lies of P!
Relic of Trismegistus Entrance
Kill the rest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood to get this piece of quartz.
Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert
Start at the stargazer and go down into the sewers. There, continue straight ahead at the fork in the road (sewers, you know what I mean). Continue going straight forward and look for a hole in the ground. Once you've found it, drop down onto the enemy below and continue down the pipe to find the next chest filled with quartz in Lies of P!
St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel
Back at the top of the cog room, jump across the two large gaps to get to a door at the other side of the room. Enter it and defeat the miniboss to get another piece of quartz.
Workshop Union Culvert
First, look for the telephone near the Workshop's entrance and answer it, and then solve the King of Riddles' puzzle correctly. Once you've completed that, you'll receive the Trinity Key.
From there, go through the tunnel with the rolling fireball and continue past the Red Fox and Black Cat until you find a big red pipe. Look for a green door to your right and unlock it using the Trinity Key. Enter the room and open the safe to get the quartz.
Workshop Union Entrance
In order to get the quartz at the Workshop Union Entrance, you'll have to fight the Puppet of the Future that's roaming around in this area. If you want to make this fight a bit easier on yourself, you can drain the corruption in the area by finding two cranks close by.
