Lords of the Fallen 2, one of the best Souls-Likes out there, will get a sequel, and it will release sooner than expected.
Every gamer is playing Elden Ring at the moment, and that's ok. After all, it is one of the best games ever made. But what can we play after we finished Elden Ring? Well, we might have an answer to that.
Do you guys remember Lords of the Fallen? It was a fun Souls-Like from 2014. Developed by Deck 13 who later did the The Surge games. The same publisher, CI Games, announced a sequel for LotF quite a while back, but now we got additional information and even a release year.
What is Lords of the Fallen 2?
Lords of the Fallen 2 will be the sequel to Lords of the Fallen, which was released in 2014. Since the game was quite popular back then, CI Games announced that they want to re-engage their audience and capitalize on the significant expansion of the action-RPG genre. LotF 2 will be a AAA, full price game and be set in a new dark-fantasy asthetic. It will also include a fully revised combat system.
The game is developed by CI Games' internal studio Hexworks. And development already started in 2019. The global marketing campaign is set to begin in the third Quarter of 2022. So, if we are lucky, we might get a trailer in autumn already.

Lords of the Fallen 2 Release Date
Well, we don't have an exact date yet, but we know it will release 2023. So you guys have basically a full year to enjoy Elden Ring before you can jump on Lords of the Fallen 2.
