Dataminers have gone into the MultiVersus game files and have found tons of unreleased voicelines and cosmetics. These items have revealed over 20 more characters set for release!
MultiVersus is the latest Smash-Bros killer everyone is talking about. But unlike previous games which have attempted to take the crown from Smash Bros, this one actually might come close. It's crazy popular, and it features some of the most iconic characters ever made. Obviously some of them are trash in game, and some are game-breakingly OP, but they're all iconic.
The starting roster was impressive enough, but wait till you've checked out some of the characters yet to be released...
Unreleased MultiVersus Characters Leaked Online
A ton of characters have been leaked for MultiVersus, thanks to dataminers who went in to the game files looking for unreleased content. A very kind Redditor put all the unreleased characters together in a single graphic, and it's pretty astonishing:

It would fill me with despair to see Gandalf in MultiVersus, but with Christopher Tolkien no longer in charge of the estate, I can't say I'd be surprised. Besides him though, it's a great list of characters for a game like this.
The game is getting so big we expect celebrities and content creators to be added soon, and we know whose going to be first on the list...

Black Adam & Stripe have now been officially confirmed as new characters in MultiVersus. This obviously gives the leaked list a lot of validity. The pair of new characters will come during MultiVersus season 1, which runs until November. Who will come next is still unclear, but it now seems all but confirmed that it will be someone from the list above.

How Has Warner Bros Responded To The Leak?
At the time of writing (August 16) Warner Bros have not actively DMCA'd those sharing the above image on other social media platforms, and they haven't confirmed or denied the leak publically. That's certainly the sign of a game doing well; they aren't even threatened by the leaks. And why should they be? This list has probably got even more people interested in the game.
