MultiVersus allows you to pick from dozens of classic characters. In this article, we'll go over every character currently available in MultiVersus, and then we'll go through how you can unlock each of them.

Here's the elevator pitch for MultiVersus: take Fortnite's charming and cartoon-y art style (which is cheaper to develop games with), put all the most famous Warner Bros characters in the game together, and copy Smash Bros. Sound good? Of course, it does, that's why you're here.

The big appeal of MultiVersus isn't the gameplay or the progression system, it's the huge pool of characters. And because Warner Bros have so many licenses, they can use characters from totally different genres. We've got Scooby-Doo, Batman, and Bugs Bunny all in the same game.

So everyone should be able to find a character they like to start playing with. But which characters are coming on launch? And, how do you unlock them? Let's take a look.

In order to unlock the characters, you will need to either spend 2,000 Gold or 700 Gleamium, the game's premium currency. Gold is pretty easy to get by just playing the game. Gleamium will cost you though, with 700 Gleamium costing around $5,99. It's also important to know, that there is a free rotation of playable characters, which changes every fortnight.

Thank god MultiVersus is so cheap because this is how much premium games are going to start costing:

Who Is The Best Character In MultiVersus?

Finn the Human is the best character in MultiVersus, and unless he gets a big nerf, it's probably going to remain Finn until someone even stronger is released. He's not as annoying to play against as other MultiVersus characters like Harley Quinn or Shaggy, who both spam air attacks most of the time, but he's objectively the strongest fighter right now.

Finn's attacks can be devastating, and the stretchy punch is too easy to spam in the current meta. So if you're looking to win, now you know the best MultiVersus character to do it with.

Have Any Characters Been Leaked?

Yes, a ton of characters have been leaked for MultiVersus, thanks to dataminers who went in to the game files looking for unreleased content. Here is the list so far:

  • Static
  • Raven
  • Joker
  • Poison Ivy
  • Black Adam
  • Scorpion
  • Fred Flintstone
  • Daffy Duck
  • Marvin the Martian
  • Johnny Bravo
  • The Powerpuff Girls
  • Samurai Jack
  • Ben 10
  • Craig
  • Animaniacs
  • Daenerys
  • The Hound
  • Gandalf
  • Legolas
  • Wicked Witch of the West
  • Beetlejuice
  • Gizmo & Stripe
  • Eleven
  • Ted Lasso
  • Emmet
  • Godzilla

What a fantastic list. This would certainly pull even more players in to this immensely popular game.

Will you be playing MultiVersus this summer? Or does Rumbleverse do it better?
