The Microsoft Store had accidentally revealed to the world that the new Destroy All Humans game is coming very soon. Since then, a trailer has been released, and we now know when the next installment from this classic franchise will drop.
We're hearing about one classic remake after another right now, from the return of Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue, to the exciting developments in Knights of the Old Republic. It's certainly a good time to be alive for older games, especially with PlayStation Plus Premium being rolled out globally right now.
But of all the franchises currently being re-imagined for the next-gen, I've got to say I'm most excited for Destroy All Humans 2 - Reprobed! The original games from back on PS2 were so charming and fun, and there's a good chance that this can be another classic.

After the Microsoft Store leaked new info about Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed a few days ago, we now got the answers to all our questions. THQ Nordic has uploaded a release date trailer to YouTube that tells us... well, the release date, duh, and also shows some new gameplay scenes. Here it is:
What are we saying, gentlemen? Excited? Yeah, pretty much. Unfortunately, the game will not be released on May 31, as we had speculated based on the previous leaks. Instead, the sequel to the classic will officially be released on August 30, 2022! Just be patient, my friends. At least you can already pre-order Destroy All Humans! Clone Carnage...
DLC Leaks For The New Destroy All Humans!
DLC for Destroy All Humans 2 - Reprobed was accidentally released on to the Microsoft Store ahead of time on May 25, 2022. The DLC is called "Destroy All Humans! Clone Carnage", and although the Microsoft Store deleted their mistake, the achievements for the DLC were backed up in time by this internet archive. The achievement titles and descriptions make the new game sound very similar to the earlier games. Also, the date of release for this DLC was leaked: May 31, 2022. And so we're pretty sure we know the release date for Destroy All Humans 2 - Reprobed!
When Is The Destroy All Humans 2 - Reprobed! Release Date?
Based on the fact that DLC will be released on May 31, and the game still hasn't been released as of May 25, we're convinced the leaked DLC is available-on-launch content, and that Destroy All Humans 2 - Reprobed will therefore be released on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. We could be wrong of course, but we're fairly convinced that they wouldn't bring out DLC ahead of the actual game release...
