This Tracer bug in Overwatch 2 is giving players nasty advantages, but Blizzard somehow won't remove her from the game because... they like it.
Overwatch 2 has recently experienced a pretty nasty Tracer bug. The slender British woman is already quite annoying, but this bug really takes it to another level. After Blizzard removed other heroes due to bugs, it's strange that they keep Tracer in the game. Honestly, we wouldn't complain if she took some time off, no one likes her.

Overwatch 2 Tracer Bug Remains In The Game
Every Overwatch 2 player can agree with me on this: Tracer is incredibly annoying. As if that wasn't enough of a hassle, now she's also bugged... And unfortunately not to her disadvantage, because this bug gives her a massive buff.
Normally, most heroes in Overwatch 2 do less damage the further away they are from the enemy. Depending on the distance, the damage value should decrease at some point. But it seems that this feature is bugged for Tracer, causing her to deal just as much damage from a distance as she does from up close and having no damage falloff under 20 Meters.
Currently in #Overwatch2, Tracer has no damage falloff under 20m The Overwatch Team are aware of this bug, however, will NOT be disabling Tracer at this time. When this gets patched, they will look to buff other areas of her kit to compensate pic.twitter.com/UFkysdPLPp

Tracer is a melee hero. Her meta-gameplay is essentially to sneak up behind players and deal damage when she is very close to them. This tactic used to be well-balanced because being close to her enemies also brings out her weakness, which is her low health. But now, with the bug, she doesn't need to be close to her enemies and can just shoot from a distance, making it almost impossible for enemies to catch her because she's so agile.
Overwatch 2 dev Aaron Keller shared on Reddit, that they will not remove Tracer from the game, because "her overall power level has been ok". Not only will we have to live with this bug, until they manage to fix it (hopefully not until Season 2)... Blizzard is even planning to add some more buffs to her kit to compensate for it.

Apparently, because of this bug, the Overwatch 2 developers realized that Tracer is now better balanced than before. Well, there are several opinions on this... Because a lot of players actually think it makes her too powerful. But what about you? Do you think Tracer needs more buffs? Feel free to let us know.
