New Tank Hero Ramattra
We're thrilled to finally unveil the secret tank that awaits us in Overwatch 2's second season! At the finals of this year's Overwatch League, Blizzard ceremoniously released the origin story of the new Overwatch 2 hero Ramattra.
He is a former omnic warlord, but then found peace and tranquility in the monastery of Shambali. When Ramattra realized that coexistence with humanity was impossible, his attitude towards violence changed. He founded the "Null Sector", an extremist military organization of the Omnics, and declared war on humanity.

A New Map Is Coming To The Game
As we know by now, the new map for season 2 will be Shambali. Located on the peaks of the Himalayas, Shambali Monastery is obviously the home of Zenyatta and Ramattra. Contrary to the speculation of many users, the new map will show the home of the new hero. Visually it looks pretty nice and a new map is always something good.
Battle Pass Revealed
The new Battle Pass will be in the style of Greek mythology. Matching with this, there will be skins of the different heroes, reminiscent of the gods and characters of the ancient Greeks. Which of them will be available in the Battle Pass and which ones will we have to buy in the shop, is still unclear.
The new mythical skin can be seen in the trailer of the new season and looks damn good. Junker Queen gets a Zeus Skin, which, as always, appears in three versions. You can check them out in the new trailer.
Brand New Skins And Cosmetics For Season 2
In the trailer, we see a lot of new skins. Of course, all relating to the theme of Greek mythology. The new operator Ramattra gets a Poseidon Skin, but we also see a Pharah Skin, suspiciously reminiscent of Hades. Skins for Ana, Lúcio, Roadhog and Reinhardt are also on display. When it comes to skins, Blizzard has done a lot right, and we hope that some of these skins will be unlocked by the Battle Pass.
We should also keep in mind that the Winter Wonderland event should take place during the second season. Therefore, we can most likely look forward to some skins that will fit the winter theme. Bastion, Echo and Mei will be receiving some new looks for the Christmas season. In the trailer we can see a beautiful Ginger-Bread-Man Bastion, a Christmas Angel Echo and Mei equipped with a winter hat.

New Mode Coming In January
As you can see in the latest video, a new mode is coming soon in Overwatch 2. To be more precise, it is scheduled to launch on January 5. The official name is already known: Battle for Olympus – which is the themr of the new season. But we can only speculate what it contains.
In the trailer, we can only really see Roadhog shooting rocks. Maybe the abilities of the heroes are switched a little, but we’ll see. If there is something new, you will of course find out right away from us.
