It was initially expected that Crystal Dynamics and The Initiative would launch Perfect Dark this year, but things changed when Covid-19 prompted delays in the development schedule. This shouldn't surprise anyone, as massive games like Hogwarts Legacy were delayed following the pandemic.

We will have to wait an additional year for the reboot of Perfect Dark.
