A group of former CDPR devs have gotten together to form Rebel Wolves – a new studio working on a dark fantasy RPG:
You know how it is these days: leakers are the new journalists, and Twitter is the Daily Bugle. Now, this latest leak comes from our good ol' reliable leaking machine Tom Henderson, and it's a big one:
Ex-CDPR Devs Working On New RPG
If you hear that CDPR devs are working on a new RPG, you better get hyped. Who better to deliver a next-gen RPG, than the folks who worked on The Witcher? Even better, the game will run on Unreal Engine 5, and it will supposedly be dark. You gotta love it, and I love it.
Ex CD Projekt Red developers will be announcing a new studio later today named REBEL WOLVES. The studio is working on a next-gen dark fantasy RPG on Unreal Engine 5. pic.twitter.com/Ej9xBxhEI9

The new studio was just recently formed, and it's called Rebel Wolves. I wonder if that's any indication for what type of game we can expect. Whatever it is, hopefully the game will launch more successfully and more polished than Cyberpunk 2077.
Interestingly, this is not the only RPG in the works from former Witcher developers: Another group of former CDPR devs have gotten together to work on The Invincible, which we wrote about in detail here.
You gotta wonder: Just how many developers does CDPR have, that they can have former developers working on two major RPGs? Also, does this mean that The Witcher 4 is in trouble, since the game's losing all its talented developers? Maybe? Or... we might just get three Amazon CDPR-quality RPGs in the near future.
