Jedi: Survivor is great in so many ways, but it's let down by poor technical performances across multiple platforms. Here is how well Jedi: Survivor runs on PS5.
If you're unsure about whether to buy Jedi: Survivor on PS5 , you should be aware of the issues many users are experiencing. Don't be too alarmed, as many critics rightly describe, Respawn has done a lot of amazing things with the sequel to Fallen Order. But, the graphical performance is not up to par in 2023.
- Whether you wait for them to fix these issues or you buy the game now, there's no reason you should also be considering this dope DB-1 LEGO model .
Does Jedi: Survivor Run Well On PS5
Jedi: Survivor will run at a fairly consistent 60fps in performance mode, but the resolution is underwhelming, there is visible screen tear and HDR is broken right now. In short, PS5 players are facing just as many issues as those on PC.
Respawn haven't publically addressed the technical issues with the PS5 version of the game yet. All we can give you for now is a single line from the end of their recent apology letter to the PC community:
We will continue to monitor performance across all platforms and share update timings as soon as it is available.
We expect them to share some kind of timeframe with the community soon, but you shouldn't get your hopes up for a do-it-all patch. This will be a slow, iterative process, and it will take many months.
What a shame that underwhelming technical performances (which they must have known about before release) will dominate the community's initial perceptions of a game that in many other regards is great. Jedi: Survivor is clearly the product of passionate artists who love the franchise, but once again the launch date was too ambitious and now the game is being let down by these technical issues. As Reddit's Necrome112 described the experience of playing Jedi Survivor: "It's like eating M&Ms with the occasional pebble".
Will you still be playing Jedi: Survivor despite these issues? And if so, are you mullet or no mullet?
Why does this keep happening this year?
