Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector's Edition – Worth it?

Everyone is super excited about the upcoming release of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. If you are thinking about buying the Collector's Edition, but can't decide if it's really worth the money, we got you covered. Here is everything you need to know.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is the most expensive Nintendo Switch game ever. With a price tag of $70 for the upcoming Zelda game, Nintendo has come into line with the prices of Microsoft and Sony.

For a whopping $129.99 you can also get the collector's edition instead, to pick up special extras.

Here is what it includes:

  • Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Game Card)
  • SteelBook game case
  • ICONART poster
  • Pin set
  • Game art book

That's $60 for a cover, a poster, some pins, and a book... Although the book about the game art sounds super interesting, $60 on top of the original price of the game sounds a bit excessive.

However, if you are a real collector and want to have all the little treasures in your possession, this package might actually be something for you. Collectors' items like the Zelda pins or the SteelBook are certainly something special and unique.
