Hestu's locations in Tears of the Kingdom change every time you find the giant Korok. As he helps you increase your inventory, you should go out and find him. Here's how.
Just like in Breath of the Wild, finding Hestu's locations in Tears of the Kingdom can be pretty tricky. The big fella is quite slippery and changes his location multiple times. You absolutely should find him though, as he can increase your inventory if you give him enough Korok seeds.
In this guide, we'll show you Hestu's locations and everything you need to know about increasing your inventory space.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: All Hestu Locations
Lindor's Brow
Hestu can first be found in one specific place in Hyrule, before he goes wandering around. You can find his first location by following the road northwest from Lookout Landing towards the Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower. Check out the fields north of the lake there to find him. The exact coordinates of Hestu's location are -1714, 1067, 0202.
Talking to Hestu will trigger the side adventure "Hestu's Concerns". Just defeat the two trees Hestu is pointing towards and he'll start offering his services to you. After you talked to him, he said he'll go east, where you'll find him next.

Lookout Landing
After your first encounter, Hestu will make his way to Lookout Landing, where you can find him close to the clothes shop. When exactly Hestu appears here is not quite clear, but it seems to be tied to progress in the main quest or by you going to the Korok Forest.
Korok Forest
This is the best spot to find Hestu, as he will definitely be here no matter your progress. Well, not quite, as you first need to help the Deku Tree by clearing out the chasm near it. After you are done with this tough fight, Hestu will appear at the coordinates 0412, 2124, 0143 and he will always be there. No more wandering off!
How To Make Your Inventory Bigger
Having a limited inventory is annoying, but Hestu will help you make it bigger. Here's how:
- Find Korok Seeds: Korok Seeds are hidden throughout the game's vast open world. Look for suspicious patterns, objects, or areas that seem out of place. Solving puzzles or interacting with these objects will often reward you with a Korok Seed. Collecting these seeds is crucial for expanding your inventory.
- Talk to Hestu & exchange Korok Seeds: Once you find Hestu, he'll inform you that he needs Korok Seeds to expand your inventory. You can give him a certain number of Korok Seeds in exchange for an additional inventory slot. Initially, he will require only one seed per slot, but the cost increases with each usage.
- Choose carefully: Each upgrade only allows you to upgrade one of three inventories: for melee weapons, shields or bows. Choose carefully which one you really want, as upgrades become more expensive every time you increase your inventory space.
