So you've been traveling the skies in Tears of the Kingdom and noticed some interesting, star-shaped islands. When you got there, they have a weird pillar with a tablet full of an ancient language on it. Let me tell you what you are supposed to do with them.

When you find a tablet and interact with it, it doesn't let you do anything with it. That is because you, unfortunately, don't speak Ancient Hyrulian. This fact will not change, but there is someone who can help you.
First you need to have completed one of the Regional Phenomena quests. Afterward you can find the NPC Woodsworth in Lookout Landing by the Ancient Tablet there. By talking to him, the quest "Messages from an Ancient Era" will start.
Woodsworth will ask you to make a photo of the tablets you find and show them to him. There are a total of 13 Ancient Tablets in Hyrule. If you look at your map, you can discern them easily, as they are on Sky Islands formed like a star. Be careful, as they have the tendency to drop to the ground when you step onto them.
As a reward, Woodsworth will give you a paraglider fabric and a healthy pay of 1400 rupees.
