Overwatch 2's executive Producer Jared Neuss just revealed, that the game will get more charity events like the BCRF event from 2018.
Overwatch 2 offers a lot of opportunities to spend tons of money on more or less “useless” skins. But why not spend money on the game, but do it for a good cause? Overwatch's executive producer Jared Neuss has just announced that they have plans for charity events in Overwatch 2.
Future Overwatch 2 charity events will be similar to the one Blizzard held for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in 2018, an event that raised over $12.7 million (USD) with the popular Pink Mercy Skin.

Overwatch 2 Is Getting More Charity Events
Charity events in video games are a wonderful idea. Players can get unique content in the game and do something for a good cause at the same time.
In 2018, Blizzard launched the BCRF Charity Event in Overwatch. There was an exclusive "Pink Mercy Skin" that players could only buy with real money (which was unusual at the time). All sales of this skin benefitted the BCRF and their mission to fight breast cancer by advancing the world's most promising research.
If you would like to donate for a good cause, you don't have to wait until Blizzard releases an Overwatch event for it. If you have the capabilities, you can support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at any time. Follow this Link to find out more about supporting BCRF.
In a recent livestream, Jared Neuss revealed that there are more charity events for Overwatch 2 in the planning.
With the Pink Mercy Charity Campaign in 2018, Blizzard got to raise more than $12.7 million (USD) for the BCRF, which is just incredible and makes us even more happy about the fact that events like these will reappear Overwatch 2.
