The new gatcha game Reverse 1999 comes with a ton of amazing characters. With our Reverse 1999 Tier list, you always know in who you should invest your limited resources in!
It's really amazing how many characters Reverse 1999 already has at its release! Of course, this makes you want all of them, which is why it can be a bit overwhelming when it comes to choosing the right units for your team.
In general, there are two main aspects to consider when building a good team in Reverse 1999. One being the pure aesthetic of the units and if you like their look and story background. Next to that, you should really keep an eye on who is actually strong and can carry you throughout the whole game!
Reverse 1999 Tier List: These Are The Best Units In The Game
When building your characters and teams in Reverse 1999, there are two other main aspects to focus on: the character's Afflatus (element) and their role within a team.
You should really pay attention to which Afflatus you already have available and which are still missing in order to be prepared for whatever enemy you have to face! An Afflatus works like elements would in Genshin Impact for example and basically determine which unit is strong against what enemy. In total, there are six different Afflatuses: Beast, Plant, Star, Mineral, Spirit, and Intelligence.

Next to that, you should also balance our team role wise. To keep it simple, you should try to have at least one main DPS, one buffer or debuffer and one healer in your line-up. You can add another sub DPS through the assist slot when entering a battle.
In order to make it a little more manageable, we categorized the characters in three separate tier lists: damage dealers, buffs / debuffs and healers.

Did you already find a main DPS that you like the most? For me, it is definitely Centurion or Charlie! However, I think Satsuki looks like a pretty interesting character as well.

This category has so many unique and fun characters!

My absolute favorite character can be found in this category: Sonetto. I know, she is basically the starter unit, but I just adore her design and character! Next to her, I think that Baby Blue and Voyager are pretty exciting units to pick up!
Healer
Having a good healer in your team is super important in this game!

Out of the healer category, I think that Tooth Fairy or Medicine Pocket would be my favorite character! However, the poison mechanic that Sotheby has, seems pretty cool as well …
Where did you find your favorite units? Hopefully in S-tier at least! Other than that, the game is of course playable with almost every character or team. In the end, you decide which unit fits your play style best or who you like appearance wise!
