Kim Dokja, an ordinary office worker, is a huge fan of the web novel Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World. Then, one day the novel he has spent years reading becomes a reality.While he is the only person that knows the outcome of the new world, he has to prevent the downfall of this alternate reality and tries to change the course of it.
While the movie is supposed to be based on the webtoon, Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint should stick exactly to this plot.

For the protagonist Kim Dokja, we got Ahn Hyo-Seop as part of the main cast. He is a Canadian actor and singer, currently living in South Korea. Business Proposal , A Time Called You or Abyss should be K-Damas you're familiar with and where he played important roles.
Next, Lee Min-Ho is gonna slip into the role of Yoo Jung-Suk, who is the main protagonist of the novel. He really has it all! He is not only an actor, but also a singer and a model. With Boys Over Flowers , he made his breakthrough.
Another member of the main cast is gonna be Chae Soo-Bin as Yoo Sang-Ah. Yoo Sang-Ah is a coworker of Kim Dokja and joins him on his adventures through the world, which is falling apart.
The most surprising actress and singer of the cast is probably Jisoo! Jisoo is a member of the girl group Blackpink , which has already garnered international attention and success. She is going to be the actress for the role of Lee Ji-Hye. She gives Kim Dokja some company and is a capable fighter with lots of strength.
Other actors you can stay excited for are Shin Seung-Ho as Lee Hyun-Sung, Park Ho-San as Gong Pil-Doo, Nana as Jung Hee-Won and Choi Young Joon as Han Myung-Oh.

While the production finished in December 2023, it shouldn't take too long till we can finally watch the long awaited movie adaption. Usually, the post-production of a movie takes six months to a year, depending on how long the time span of the movie is gonna be.
Therefore, we can expect the movie adaption for Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint to release between May and December 2024. However, please keep in mind that this is just a prediction and a shot in the dark. Nothing has been confirmed yet!
