Good news for all avid Cloud 9 supporters; one of the franchise's most acclaimed players is making a return to his roots. According to an announcement by the LCS Team via a brief video clip, Meteos is reuniting with Cloud 9 after a separation of 6 years. While the exact capacity in which the Jungler will return remains uncertain, two plausible roles stand out.

League of Legends: Meteos Rejoins Cloud 9 – Active Competitor or Content Creator?

Any dedicated follower of the North American LCS undoubtedly remembers the name – Meteos. Now, the legendary Jungler is making a comeback, returning to his former abode, Cloud 9, where he was a prominent figure during the NA LCS era spanning from 2013 to 2017. The franchise made this announcement through a concise Twitter video clip.

Currently, little is known about his potential role within the organization. He could either assume an active roster position or function as a content creator for the team. The widely recognized wiki-website lol.fandom.com designates him as a streamer and content creator, a role that seems most likely for Meteos given his absence from the pro scene since July 2020.

Over the course of his extensive seven-year career as a professional player, Meteos contributed his talents to renowned teams including C9, which marked his entry into the NA LCS, Phoenix1, 100 Thieves, FlyQuest, Optic Gaming, and Immortals.

Since then, he embraced the role of a streamer and content creator, amassing a sizable fan base. His collaborative streams of the LCS and other professional League of Legends events particularly earned acclaim from the community.

Observing the role Meteos will assume within the Cloud 9 organization will be intriguing. The return of a legend, especially one of the older names like him, evokes a sense of nostalgia. Many fans are undoubtedly reminiscing about the initial Cloud 9 lineup from bygone days, when Meteos collaborated with Sneaky, Balls, Hai, and LemonNation.
